I'm trying to figure out how to stay home Tuesday. I need to get a catscan, so maybe I'll do it Tuesday morning.

The thing is, both Ken Levine and Irrational have an impeccable record. If there's anyone I feel confidence in, it's those guys....

And i'm not one that usually pre-orders games, either.

I've heard this a couple times and checked into their full library. Didn't know they made SWAT 4 and I really liked that one. In fact a few times a year I pine for a proper tactical shooter after remembering that one. There simply hasn't been anything like it since that I'm aware of.

It's my turn to work from home Tuesday but maybe I'll try the game out during lunch while people won't be hounding me with stuff. Otherwise I pretty much stayed logged in to work until 5 or 6 on days I work from home

I'm damn psyched that I got this game with my 7950 but it's one of those few games i'd have paid full price to get.

Can't wait to try it tomorrow!

Does anyone know if the PC version supports gamepads? Steam doesn't list it.

Can't 'be 100% sure, but i'm nearly certain it does. Both prior bioshock games support them AFAIK - and bioshock infinite is getting special love for the PC. Ken Levine and company made sure to add PC specific options such as FOV, anti aliasing, etc - so with that in mind I believe gamepads will also be just fine.

Well, that's the thing. The previous two Bioshock games didn't :p

Anyone else buy the season pass at best buy on a card? Have never done this before and a bit worried about not getting it. No email yet.

If anyone has gotten a season pass in that same way before and has any insight, I'd appreciate it

God, I hope this isn't paid hyperbole:

BioShock: Infinite isn’t just one of the best games of 2013, but also of the twenty-first century. The themes and storytelling are unparalleled and are approached from multiple points of view, without being at the expense of the first-person shooter-action

Read the RPS article if you want a slightly less glowing review - http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/03/25/bioshock-infinite-pc-review/

Don't get me wrong - they are not saying its a bad game but from that article it doesn't sound quite as good as some of the other review sites are saying it is.

Not to discredit the authors opionion, but I found that article to be very difficult to read.

"That’s something the consumer of such tales must be prepared for, and will so often feel let down by, but conversely the author has to deal with the fact that the offerings of their own imagination may not possibly be able to satisfy someone who’s become invested in the tale they began."

I cannot believe that is a complete sentence. What the hell is that person trying to accomplish explain in that sentence?
