i have something, piece of clathing i think that does add to max ammo capacity as well as clip capacity. I'll have to see if I can tell what it is.

I;m playing on normal and I find that it's just the right difficulty for me, especially with lots of enemies or some of the more difficult enemies, like the handy men or the patriots.

I'm having trouble maintaining situational awareness when riding around on those rails during combat. Almost makes me dizzy, I'd make a lousy fighter pilot!

I played on hard all the way till the epic last battle. I was getting frustrated and wanted to see the ending, so I had to bump down the difficulty. So I missed the achievement :(

Well, if ammo is the problem you either need to regen it via the shirt, or use less of it through more damage per shot. The +50% headshot damage boots are huge for that, and combined with the shock-burst on overkill shirt it's a big help. The +25% ADS/-25% hipfire equipment would also help if you ADS a lot.

I thought about the headshot shirt, but I think that would replace my salts shirt. I also don't have the ammo regen shirt as I probably would have used that.

There was one clothing package that I couldn't figure out how to get. It was in the memorial gardens behind a gate, but I didn't see any way of opening the gate. :(

Use Devil's kiss to light the torches on each side of it.

He shouldn't have to, you should have bought the game on release.:colbert:

Heh, he usually gives me cash and I buy the games online and gift them to him. But even he admitted that he has plenty of games to play now (currently we both play a lot Planetside 2) so one minute he's like "Get the game!" and the next he's like "We can wait for the Steam sales, yeah we can wait..."

It's a short single player game, you can definitely wait

Didn't think much of the game. The first Bioshock had better gameplay, atmosphere and story.

I thought it was mediocre at best. I was halfway through on hard and was bored most of the time, so I just put it on easy and ran past a lot of enemies to see how the story turns out.

It has nice production value but just isn't a fun game for me. My motivation for finishing the game was to see the story and free up 15 gigs on my hard drive tbh.

I tend to like games with deep gameplay rather than rich atmosphere. I played tomb raider just beforehand and I enjoyed that a lot more even though its not the type of game I generally enjoy.

I like atmosphere. Maybe I'm in the wrong genre, because sometimes it's the combat that gets in the way of my fun. I don't really like anything besides first-person perspective, though, so I put up with all the shooting.

I know it's been said a lot of times before but I loved the world of Bioshock Infinite more than anything else with the game. Had they made an RPG instead of an FPS would bring me tears of joy. There just seems to be a lot more that can be absorbed than the few hours we're given to run and gun.

Check the forums for the codes that AMD sends with their cards. I have seen it go as low as $30.

I'd agree. The art, animation and theme/storyline were what really caused all this amazing reviews, etc. I don't think the combat for a PC title is amazing at all. Maybe for a console title, but the combat in Infinite on the PC is exactly as someone mentioned above: "I just turned it on easy and ran past people to hear the story after a while".

Don't take this as me calling you wrong or anything, but what would you (or anyone else) like to see different in the combat?

Hmm is there anywhere else in the game you can light torches? Kind of annoying that they would make you guess at a new game mechanic in order to solve a single puzzle.

I didn't see anywhere but there, and it was pretty poorly implemented. You have to hit the torch directly with the devil's kiss grenade to light it. You would think that the AOE damage from the DK explosion would be able to light both of them if threw one directly between them. It also annoyed me that the shock jockey switches disappeared later in the game.

I only ever found two of those... one in the toy store and the one that you needed to call the gondola. :\

I was watching someone play that section, and there was at least one on a building a few stories up.

Can you light the torches with a melee attack using the fire-melee gear? That gear sets off combos like it was Devil's Kiss, might light the torches too.

Found a bug. Might contain spoiler.
Fighting the Siren in the bank. Doors closed. Got killed. Elizabeth re-upped me back to wear the tear is. I run back to the bank room and the doors are still closed. I can't get in and continue the fight. Crap.

nevermind, figured it out.

Finally got around to finishing this. I liked it overall. Story was interesting and leaves enough to interpretation (as any stories with the elements given do). I agree with many here that this games highlights is it's atmosphere and art direction.
