From steam if you buy a 4 pack with 4 friends its about 33.75 per person.... kinda wish i had 4 friends sigh....

Sorry, from the FS/T rules, "No 'Group Buys.'" I don't usually moderate this particular area; I'm just here because of a reported post, but as far as I know, these threads have been locked in the past. I'm having it reviewed by the other moderators; if I'm wrong, it'll be unlocked shortly. -Admin DrPizza

Don't forget that you get 4 copies of the original BS as well. I'm in if we can find 2 others.
but only 3 games of bioshock 2.

"Pre-purchase now save 10% and receive three copies of BioShock 2 and four copies of BioShock to give to your friends!"

edit :"Pre-purchase now save 10% and receive one copy of BioShock 2 for yourself, three copies to give to your friends and four copies of BioShock to give to your friends!"

1 for me
3 for friends
4 copies of bioshock to hord!!!

Thats what it says on the UK Steam site.

^ Says that through steam.

On the website it's fine though.

It's not rocket science, ffs.

You get four of each.
When you buy the four-pack, Bioshock 2 is automatically yours and you have 3 to spread out. If you already have Bioshock 1, you can spread 4 copies out. If you don't have it, you can spread 3 copies.

Here's a question I have. The "purchaser" gets the 4x4 copies yes, and then gifts them out? What if I already have BS 1, can the "purchaser" give me a copy of BS 1 and then I can regift it as I choose or can I not get another copy since I already have it?

I am in for this, I will go with others if you need one one more or I will start another 4 person group. I do not have Heat but here is my Ebay rating http://myworld.ebay.com/tyler822/ and I have been hanging around this gin joint for 8 years. Let me through pm

OMG... "This game will unlock in approximately 2 weeks, 6 days and 20 hours"

Way too many awesome titles being released within a month's time frame. Do they not realize we need to work, eat, sleep, etc? 🙂

OMG It amazes the people here who cannot read. Taken directly from Steam:Pre-purchase now save 10% and receive one copy of BioShock 2 for yourself, three copies to give to your friends and four copies of BioShock to give to your friends!

If you already own the first Bioshock then:You will receive one copy of Bioshock if you have pre-ordered Bioshock 2. This copy can be applied to your own account or given away to a Steam friend.

Now anyone want to pony $33.74 so we can get this deal done.

I still want to know the answer to my question above.

The way I am reading it if you buy the game or pack and you already have BS1 through Steam then your free copy of BS1 you can send to someone else.

Yeah, I agree that would be the case for the person doing the purchasing. But the way I understand it (and I could be wrong, I've never done one of these bulk buys) 1 person (Person A) buys the "bulk deal."

So Person A now had 4 copies of BS1 and BS2 on his account.
1 copy of BS 1 and 1 copy of BS 2 are his, as well as 3 gift copies of BS 1 and 3 gift copies of BS 2.
So he simply then gifts a copy of BS1/2 to each of his fellow deal buyers, Persons B, C, and D.

Now, suppose person B already owns BS 1; is Person B still able to receive 1 of the gift copies of BS 1 or does Person A simply have 2 gift copies now?

Get what I mean? Basically, I'd love to give a copy of BS 1 to a friend because I already own it, but if I go in on a group buy, would I be out that gift copy because I already own it?

I suppose this boils down to whether or not you can transfer ownership of a gift copy.

If you would have read my post, you would have realized that on the website, it is very clear that it is 4 copies of bioshock 2, whereas if you look through the store via steam app, it is somewhat ambiguous.

Man. I'd love to get in on this deal, but I'm strapped for cash until Thursday...

No if you buy the group and own BS1 through Steam then you can gift your copy of BS1 to some else.

All you would have to do is have the buyer gift the copy of BS1 to your friend... You wouldn't be involved in the deal, except for getting the BS2 copy as a gift....
