ugh.. yet another game you have to save often with, second time it's completely froze on me and I lost about an hour's worth of progress.

This game is seriously buggy, even more than Fallout 3.

Yeah, I ran into some buggy auto save problems and have resorted to manually saving if I've been playing a while or making good progress. Still totally loving the game and atmosphere and all the different ways you can play it.

Whenever I see a bot shut down panel I'd hack something close by and purposefully send the bots, then shut them down, then make them mine.

Platypus - Head shots with the rivet gun do a lot of damage.

I just grab the bots straight from the air with Telekinesis 3 and hack them while they are trying to shoot me. It's more fun. 😉

Nearly done with this game. I really wish you could go back to other areas, but whatever. I'm sure I missed something as I always do with linear games like this.

I can't stand how it only autosaves after you complete an area. Each area can take 1-3 hours to complete depending on how you play so it's a lot of wasted time if something goes wrong. Once you get into the habit of saving yourself though it's not too bad.

I've also had a number of audio issues where if I pick up a diary and try to play it while mission dialog starts, sometimes the spoken audio will lock up and never progress again unless I restart the game. It's happened a couple times and it hasn't been totally stuck yet, but it still happens often enough that it should have been caught and fixed.

Solid game overall but something about it seems off in comparison to the first. This one never felt like you were in an underwater city like the first did. Seems like a lot of the atmosphere was missing.

Didn't freeze on me at all in single player (which I played through twice) or multiplayer (level 29). Conversely, I had FO3 GotY freeze on me six times.

It's frozen on my twice in single player, haven't made it to multiplayer yet.

I decided to explore hypnotize on your recommendation and I found it quite useful for large battles indeed. I have not figured out a good way to utilize scout yet. It appears you can explore undetected but you can only use plasmids while in scout? Seems kind of useless but maybe not.

I also cannot for the life of me make the rivet gun useful at all. I've tried to max it out and it still seems pointless. They give you so much fucking ammo for it though so it seems like they want you to use it.

The best way I found to use scout (Scout 2) is to Hypnotize an enemy and hack some bots then use scout ghost to advance to the next area. Your bots and hypnotized enemy will follow your ghost and they'll battle the new enemies while you watch. The second thing to do is use scout 2 to hack alarm or turrent in the next area and watch the enemies in the area get wasted. I finished the game over the weekend. I really enjoy the game. I'll play it again and take my time to explore other weapons and plasmids.

Game showed up today via UPS and I put maybe 1.5 hours into it so far and so far I like it but it is hard to live up to the original, now it's just more of the same, which isn't a bad thing, it's just not necessarily an improvement over the original, so far.

I do like the new style of hacking a hell of a lot more though, used to piss me off in the last one.

Once I get a few more hours into it I'll have a better feel for it.
