Bios Update

I'm attempting to update my A-Bit BX6 r2 bios. I have the awdflash and bin file, but I'm confused with all the commands they give me.

Can anyone tell me what commands I need?

All I know is to have awdflash biosfile.bin [but what follows?]

Thanks ahead of time

after you boot to dos, just run the AWDFLASH program. You dont need any of the switches.

it will ask you for the name of the .BIN file (type it all in, IE filename.bin)

it will ask you if you want to save a backup copy of the current bios, say yes.

its not really that hard.

and after you update the bios, remember to go back into bios and choose "load setup defaults" before anything else.

The tricky part is what you do before and after. I always reset the BIOS on the mb to default before I flash. If you need to clear the CMOS afterwards, make sure the powersupply is unplugged from the mb.

I'm running Windows2000, and it won't let me create a systems disk when I try to format. What should I do? I can't access the command prompt. I have Win2k boot disks, but it takes me to a blue screen to start installation of win2k. What do I do?
