BIOS Update

I have the Intel GMA 915 chipset on my LG laptop, and, seeing as I have combined physical memory and video memory, want to raise the maximum video memory from 128 to 256MB of my 512 MB DDR2 ram using the BIOS.
The problem is that my BIOS won't let me change any useful stuff at all... so I guess I need an update, or another way to raise video memory... can anyone help me with this? I tried looking in Intel's download database, but I didn't find anything useful there...
Please help, I'd very much like to improve game performance.

The extra video memory isnt going to help you, the intel chip is very limited when it comes to gaming. More memory only helps if you have the horsepower to back it up.

I can assure you that it will help. I have a pretty powerful processor, and I read about the whole thing in a professionl FAQ.
I'm not talking about getting Oblivion to run on my lappy. I'm talking about raising fps a few steps on games that already run well, like the PoP games.
