BIOS update question

When motherboard manufacturers update a BIOS, do they add the same things to each new BIOS? I know thats not clear so i will give an example.

Okay Abit releases Bios A which fixes problem 1
Then they release BIOS B which fixes problem 2 and 3 and also updates some things. My question is does BIOS B also fix problem 1 like BIOS A does, or do i need to get BIOS A to?

BIOS upgrades are usually inclusive. Meaning they include fixes done by previous BIOS's. In a few cases manufacturers will do BIOS's with choices, but that is rare.

Bios 4 includes all the updates from Bios 3 and 2 and 1. Like Pederv said, they are inclusive.
