This is my first post. I've learned a lot from all of you, and I just wanted to get your opinion.

Gigabyte DS3
E6400
2gb Kingston DDR2 667
SI 128 cpu cooler

FSB 800 (3.2Ghz)
Memory overclocked to 800 2.1V (+.1)
CPU voltage 1.35
Memory timings at auto

It's stable, and cpu temp under CPU Burn In & Prime95 together is 47C. Idle temp is 33C.
Memory timings are poor at 5 6 6 18.

Seems like I could get more out of the CPU and memory. Any suggestions on memory timings? I tried 4339 at 2.1V as suggested on the forum but the system froze.

try 5-5-5-12 as a start.

Should I try to push the ram further?

55c at idle? or you talking about full load on both cores?

Not idle, with prime95 and CPU Burn In both running. It settled in at 57C.

That's not too bad. I get pretty high temps because I live in florida and we have to conserve our power bill by cutting back on the AC usage. My room is probably over 80F at any time (except after I have everything off for hours at a time.

you can try it, just remember to write down what works now and note what you change.
