The problem i have is that every time unplug my computer from the AC the BIOS settings are not stored and i have to configure the settings again. It's just like if the cmos battery is low, but the mobo doesn't show me any warnings about that and i even measured the voltage of the battery with a multimeter and it was fine.

Now i have it connected to a UPS, so it isn't a very big deal, but it is kind of annoying nonetheless.. What might it be the cause of this?

My system specs are:
i5 2500k stock
asus p8z68-v
2x4GB gskill 1600MHz ram
intel 510 120GB ssd
500 GB hdd
xfx 750W psu

btw how do i put my system specs in my signature?

If your CMOS battery voltage is fine (2.5-3V), I'd say check your CMOS jumper, it might be set to clear.

And you'll need 25 posts before you can make a signature.

the jumper is in the correct position, i guess it might be a problem with the mobo... I read something about CPR(cpu parameter recall) is that something that can be enabled/disabled?
