Weird problem on my GF's new laptop. Bios shows the proper amount 512 MB but windows is showing 384 MB. This is obviously not a hardware issue right? I was about to Exchange it the computer, HEH. Where do i go to change the amount of ram Windows is detecting? This also means the Hyper Threading feature is not properly working?

Computer:
AMD Trion(tm) 64 Mobile
Technology ML-30
1.59 GHz, 384 MB of RAM
Physical Address Extension

when i got to programs/ accessories/ system tools/ system info it says 512 MB but when Im in system properties General it says 384???

HOLY CRAP! that sux I thought even though intergrated it would still have its own freakin ram! So in actuality it is not a 128 MB graphics card?

You might be able to change the amount of ram the graphics chip uses in the BIOS settings. If you aren't playing games, you can probably drop it down to it's lowest setting.

You don't have hyperthreading, btw.

I think you mean hypertransport.
