Need some help for some options in bios i dont understand.
Under advanced BIOS features there is "Hard Disk Boot Priority" and it says to press enter becuase i quess it wants an option. Theres only 2 selections 1. my harddrive and 2. i have no idea what it was : )

Also in Intergrated Peripherals there is Init display first. With the description: this item is used to determine initial device when system power on. The choice: AGP slot or PCI slot. Its on pci slot default but should i put it on AGP? what does this actually do?

Sorry if these are stupid questions but i never seen these on old computer.

The hard disk boot priority would be used if you had multiple hard drives, you could then choose which one it would look at first while booting up. The initial device, AGP or PCI, tells the motherboard which type of video card to look at first, either an AGP video card, or PCI. If you had multiple video cards, one agp, and one pci, it would use the one selected.

The disk boot priority is where you would select the hard drive you want the BIOS to boot from. If you have only one HD, I don't think this option would be usable. Set to your HD if the option is there. Second question-- if you have an AGP video card, then you want AGP first.

A minute late.
