Bios Question

I recently flashed and up dated my bios on my EpoX 8KHA+ mobo. and im woundering what updating them really does seeing as i wasenthaving any problims with the other ones.

The rules for BIOS upgrading is If it isn,t broken don't Flash it
usally a Bios upgrade will fix some stability problems and compatibilty issues

Bios flashes are also good for allowing newer hardware to be properly recognized. in addition, they often add tweaks and enhanced functionality.

yea i know if its not broke dont fix it but i always like havin the most recent stuff cause im like that.

Just to add some more info...Updating a bios also sometimes will add some higher compatible CPUs becuase it can add in higher mulitpliers.

But if it is working well, upgrading a bios sometimes can lead to problems.
