BIOS question

Greetings,

I just swapped my MOBO and clean installed Vista 64. Before installing the OS, I changed the BIOS settings to boot from the DVD drive. Now that Vista is installed, should I go back into BIOS and switch the boot priority to Hard Disk Drive again?

Thanks!

Thats a matter of choice if you think you will use other CD/DVD based utilities or you need to use Vista DVD to use its utilities then you would need to have same setup up have now. Does your system take too long when you boot up on the checking for CD/DVD media then you might want to turn it off. It should only stall on the checking if the media is bootable to give you the option to press a key and boot the media which typically lasts a few sec.
