BIOS problem, Windows loading slow....

I had to replace the battery on my MSi Neo4-F mobo today and when it booted up it showed on post my dual channel RAM (Patriot XBL 1gb kit) and PCI-E device (Asus A850XT PE), but it seems like every other time I reboot it doesn't show those devices. It's very noticeable because they appear in bright white letters when the post screen appears. Also, it seems like my Windows XP Pro is loading super slow now too (1+ minute to load instead of 15ish seconds) for some reason, which makes it a pain to work with obviously. Also, I'm getting a beep when I boot my PC & am unsure if this is a problem I should look into. Anyone have any ideas?

1) Are you positive that you have the exact battery that is called for by your motherboard ? Were you careful to NOT touch the flat surfaces of the battery or if so did you wipe it off before inserting it on the motherboard ?

2) Have you reset any BIOS parameters back to what you had them before you took the battery out ?

It's definitely the right battery. I probably touched the top of the battery to push it into the slot, but it wouldn't account for 3 dead batteries in 6 weeks anyways. I don't know how to reset the BIOS because I have no JBAT on this motherboard....?
