bios or coretemp ( which is the right cpu temp?)

i have abit ip35-e and e4300. the bios temp on the cpu is almost to 90C .


i am wondering which is correct temp for the cpu. (coretemp or the bios temp)

coretemp is about 67-70C

They shouldn't be at those temps... Check if your heatsink is on right or your TIM is applied correctly. BIOS put the CPU under load, so the temp could be right, and CoreTemp could be reading at idle, so that could be right also. But what I'm wondering is why you are at 90C anyway, that will kill your processor soon.

Something is fubar with your cooling setup. Definately check it out.

Are you using the stock cooler, and if so are you sure you got all four pins in all the way? Did you smudge the included thermal material or wipe it off not knowing what it was?

If you're using an aftermarket cooler, is it properly attached? Did you use some kind of thermal interface material?
