Hello all :)

Recently I upgraded my RAM to 4GB (2x2B sticks). In Windows Vista 64bit it shows that 4GB is installed and all is fine. Steam asked me to complete a survey and at the end it shows the information they gathered. My RAM was listed as "3070MB" which I thought was odd. So I rebooted to check my BIOS. Sure enough it shows in "system information" that I've currently got "3072MB" installed. How can this be? I have the latest BIOS (1238) for my motherboard. Here's my system specs:

Core 2 Duo E6400 @ 3.2Ghz
Asus P5B Deluxe
4GB (2x2GB) Patriot Viper 4-4-4-12
EVGA 9600GT 512MB
Seagate 160GB & WD Caviar Black 640GB
PC Power & Cooling 610w PSU
Antec 1200
Windows Vista 64bit

IDK how this would happen. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I would be grateful.

i think there is a memory remapping feature in the BIOS on asus boards that you can enable to get all your ram.
