BIOS hotflashing

Hi,

I need to hotflash my BIOS, and ASUS EZ Flash 2 didn't work, nor did ASUS Flash. Any suggestions on how to force the update?

Thanks,

Patrick

you can start by doing it the right way

USB 2.0 stick
Format FAT32 , .rom not in any folder
Bios rename 8 letters only - like ASUS2001.rom
Paste in root of USB naked
Boot to bios with stick already inserted.
Personally, I would not flash with any O/C over 4.4 in play

If that doesnt work, you have a prob, but ASUS bupdater (FreeDos) would be your next best shot

If you corrupted the bootblock, then there a kinda complicated way to wipe the BB and start fresh but I am too lazy to go thru all that
ASUS will send you a new chip for $15
