I tried to flash my bios and i think i screwed up. I found step by step instructions and i think i maneged to screw them up because i definatly got blank screen and a quiet bleep bleep once in a while. if i've screwed this thing up beyond repair could somone tell me? and if any one has help that could be offered it would be appreciated

What are your BIOS and Mobo? You should be able to go to the mobo manufacturer's website (or other tech support area... you should be able to look it up in a good search engine - i use google.com). That bleep-bleep is telling you something. Make a note of what exactly the beep-code is, then refer back to the chart on the website... That'll tell you what your problem is.

My MOBO is a KT7a-RAID and my bios is whatever is standard on it. I believe it's thew softmenue III? anyway I'll lookfor that bleep bleep it's really quiet and occurs after 20 or 30 seconds. it occurs then every 5 or 10 seconds.
