Where can I find a tutorial for flashing a bios. Have never done it and will soon be getting a K7T Pro 2A. Also where can I dl latest version for this mb? Thanks.

well, most manufactureres websites have their latest updates, also will tell you what to do to flsh the bios. heres a ruff way: get the bios, usually a .bin file, put it in your root directory, i think they usually are less than a mb. double check with the manufacturer for the flash utility that you need. get that, should be a single file executable, now boot to dos, or dos diskette, then type in the file name of the executable, then the name of the bin i.e. soyo6ba4v2.bin and it should bring up a little proggy, i suggest you back up the present bios, though if you screw up, usually the system might not be bootable, and you'll hafta find a replacement chip or somthing, so check with the manufacturer, for exact deatials

At least the Abit website has detailed bios flashing instructions. They will apply to all mobos. Go to their bios download section. A window pops up giving you the instructions.

You could try the MSI LIVE BIOS update program which does it in Windows & installs the update automatically so very easy to use,go here for the program click here .
