The GTs have single slot heatsinks and only one Molex connector.Originally posted by: tadh
Both the GT and the Ultra use/have (2) Molex connectors so I don't nelieve that needs to be a concern.
The clock differences are the GT @ 350 x 1000 and the Ultra @ 400 x 1100 depending upon manufacturer.
Differences in voltage and timings are not known by myself and honestly; who has one of each of these available to them for comparison/tesing?
Some peeps are starting to think the GT's really are the Ultra's PCB's and Memory but with slightly lower yielding GPU cores so I imagine the possibility is there if you get a "Good" one and have quality cooling.

nothing
in fact with the case of the 5900 to 5950 flash, the flash resulted in worse performance rather than overclocking, as the flash resulted in looser timings

dont lie to people. Did you even do a flash from the 5900U to a 5950U? I did, I know every game I play, except one, I gained quite a bit. Tribes 1 is the only game that I didnt gain any, but that's because it's FPS locked at 175fps. (a bug? Anyway it would gain, nor lose any at all)
In F12002 I gained 23fps!
In UT2003 I gained 18! UT04 I gained 13!
In CoD I gained 8
In C&C Generals:ZH I gained 16
So, you tell me? did I get worse performance??? Oh, and also My temps went down by 10 under idle, and 13 under 3d load
Yes, it did result in looseer timings, but it overclocked it by a bunch, and upped the voltage .1v. But I went from 420/870 (Gainward Golden Sample) to a whopping 475/950, and I can OC it to 1 Ghz memory!
Only the Ultra has two molexes. Both the GT and the Ultra use/have (2) Molex connectors
