I just d/l'ed BIOS 1013 for my A7V, did Alt+F2 to get into the EZflash utility (I'm using BIOS rev1008 currently), and I type in my file name for the new BIOS at the command like your supposed to, and all I get is this message, wtf :(

Thankfully everything still works anyways :p

LOL, I'm a dumbass, I typed the filename incorrectly, I guess I'll go give it another shot, with 1014, which just came out about 3 minutes ago :)

I dunno, I'm not liking it, so far it dropped my idle CPU temps 10C, which obviously means it tricked MBM 5 into reading the goddamn socket thermistor instead of the REAL temp :(

I'm not sure yet, I'm just testing out some stuff now, torture testing to see what the temps will do, and then I'm off to OC land :)

Rev1008 = cpu idle 52C, load 59-60C
Rev1014 = cpu ilde 43C, load 53C

I was previously stuck at 166fsb with my XP1500 AGOIA, but the way it just absolutely ran into a wall at 167, yet had no problems whatsoever at 166 made me think this is "a little chip that could" :) So with the new update, and new support for 166fsb chipsets, I'm gonna go see if I can get this sumbitch booted at 1.7ghz :D

Be back with the news in a bit!

It was the old BIOS holding my OC back!! woo hoo, FSB for everyone! I'm booted now at 10x167, just to see if I could, now to see how high I can go before it maxes, or my temps get too high :D

Crapped out at 10x170, doing fine at 169fsb so far :)

Its not a big deal, but I still wish on bootup, my BIOS would either say XP 2000+ or 1690mhz, not XP 1500+ :D

And I have a PAL8045 comin tomorrow, I think this should be beneficial towards my OC as opposed to the TT Volcano 7 I'm running now :)
