BIOS displays 2000+ instead of 2100+ ?

I have an Epox 8kha+ REV 2.0 and an Athlon XP 2100+ but the BIOS and WCPUID show only a 2000+. I read about this somewhere but I can't remember the solution. Perhaps I need to update the BIOS? Help appreciated.

Yes, you should update the BIOS.

An incorrect BIOS readout string is almost always fixed by upgrading the BIOS.

There is one other possibility, you actually have a 2000 and not a 2100.

I updated the BIOS and it now displays 2100+. Thanks for the help.
