BIOS d/n see SATA DVD

I just replaced my IDE dvd burner with a SATA. After a couple of driver installs, XP can see the drive.

It appears the BIOS does not see the drive - - at least it does not appear in the boot menu. It is an older mobo. Is that the problem? Or is there some setting I am overlooking in the BIOS?

Both HDD are still IDE.
Current DVD is SAMSUNG|SH-S203N SATA.
