I buy this computer before tree weeks:
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 939
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum 54G
OCZ HIGH PERFORMANCE 2x 512 Platinum Cl2 rev1
Asus Dvd
Asus Cdrw
2x WD 400JB RAID 0
Gigabyte Fx-5200
Windows Xp sp2...
I installed them ok. But i had litle high tempretuarew so i bought 2 case fans akasa, akasa thermalpaste and Zalman NB-47J to reduce sound.
After installing Zalman i opened the pc.
Pc was restarting continiously before the video card informasion. I made clear bios.
Then the post waw ok but in the end after detecting devices i receive Bios checksum error. When I change any information the computer restarts as i reffer above.
What i can do???
I can repair it???
I go it for service but they didn't get it because i have changed the mobo-cooler.
I have to replace bios???(oh no!!)
I don't thing the battery have any problem.
All the parts are recognised correctly from the bios.
You think i have to replace the bios or could be something else???
Can i flash the bios???
Thanks, sorry for my bad English.

You receive CMOS checksum error? On a new build?

Make sure you got the "CMOS clear" jumper set to "Normal", if you can, check whether the battery is actually any good. Then, just enter BIOS setup (you're being prompted to do so, aren't you?), make your choices, SAVE and exit. Voila, checksum error no more - until the battery goes bad years from now.

The jumper i was sure it was on normal.
So you believe there is a problem with the battery???
Then i will take a voltmeter tommorow and see if it is ok..
Why this can happen??? The mobo is almost new.
Would be problem of virus
I underline that the mobo starts normally the post with default settings and after the detection of hard disks and cdroms it says that....

Got checksum error last night...cleared CMOS and it went away....u can try clearing again and disconnecting power too when u clear it...
