Bionic Seti@home question

I migrated from seti at home to bionic in the spring, but couldnt figure out it out and my servers were having trouble connecting to classic so I went inactive. I just got bionic installed on my first machine because my apartment is cold 😉

Anyhow, I couldn't help but onwder why everywhere I look, it looks like I haven't completled a single WU. Do the classic WU counts not port over? that would be really uncool if they didn't... I had at least 1500 of them. I know it's not much, but they took me months to get with my array of sub-1ghz boxes 😉

Hehe.. I had to laugh seeing BOINC spelled as bionic. Maybe the project's founders can use that for advertising. 🙂

As for converting, my understanding is that your old total(s) will not be converted over into the new project. It's the same for everyone, those with just a couple WUs and those with hundreds of thousands.. they all get to start over on an even footing as it were. So don't look at it in a negative manner, see it as an opportunity to get in early and get crunching ahead of those who've not yet made the switch. 😉

Although your "old WUs" are not converted, the results will be visible on your account page. Those WUs you had crunched before March 15th should be visible just now 🙂 , those you have crunched after will be seen when the final update is done and seti@home classic is shut down permanently. 😀
