Are yeast cells prokaryotic or eukaryotic? Are Escerichia coli cells prokaryotic or eukaryotic? Which might be best for studying mammaalian genes?

I'm pretty sure both are prokaryotic. I think E. Coli is more similar to us seeing as they live in us. Unless you have a yeast infection. :Q

You guys are no help. No bio majors or minor here huh? BTW I answered the question right after posting it (got to look in the right places). Yeasts is eukaryote Ecoli is prokaryote and yeast is best for studying human genes.
