Study on binge alcohol consumption and brain damage
Dr. Crews is a stud in alcohol research. I'm into mind altering work as well but alcohol isn't particularly interesting to me. It's not a new concept that moderate alcohol consumption < 2 drinks/day is unlikely to be bad and may provide some benefits, while binges precipitate clear short- and long-term morbidity.
Another example is sun exposure, some is necessary, but a lot a one time leads to burns and increased long-term risk of cancer.
What do the Hall Crawl and Bar Golf lobby have to say?
