Funny thing about dams, you don't have to knock a hole in one. Just destabilize it....and wait. The several hundred thousand tons on the other side will do most of the work. They sure put a gaping hole in the U.S.S Cole with enough explosives to fit in a rubber dingy.

Bingo... And I wasn't thinking of a rubber dingy, but perhaps something the size of a speedboat, or a small pleasure yahat... You could probably get 5 to 10 tons of explosives on something like that, just stick it into barrels or something, and drop them overboard and set them off part way down the side of the damm...

Might not work anyway, it was just an idea...

How about we send some mini nukes and kill all these worthless scum? we're running out of patient and time. They are like a disease to the rest of the world, there is no cure, they must be destroyed.
Don't give them any ideas period, they will do anything to take as American lives as possible and only trading a few of their lives. Most American are not pleased that these Terrorists/Murderer are not quickly taken care of, and neither am I.

If Bin Laden wants to bring down some more airplanes, and can no longer get people on board to hijack them, why not just bring over some of the left over Stinger missiles that we gave him and just shoot the planes down... Hit them as they are taking off and full of fuel, the fireball would be impressive...

It would also make putting sky marshals on planes totally useless and make even more people scared to fly...

Now I do understand getting them into the US would be hard, but that is just shipping...

Just an idea...

After the bombing of the WTC, my stock has dropped considerately say by 50 percent. Many people have died because of our reckless and carelessness. The CIA said they knew but kept it to themselves. How will wrecking the navigational systems bring down a plane?

I fly quite easily with no more navigation than a map and a peek out the window every now and then. While it sounds silly, the same applies to airliners. It's really not all that hard to look out the window and find O'Hare airport if you're in the vicinity.

Now, an EMP pulse would most likely also affect the computer control systems of transport type aircraft, and that, of course, would bring down a plane. An EMP wouldn't hurt the steel control cables on my Cessna.

You don't need something as high tech as a stinger missle to take a plane down. A simple crude object placed on the runway(near the point of lift-off) can rupture the tires and the mere velocity, 200mph, and no tires lets say would be quite bad mix.

Yes, but in that case, the plane still managed to take off although with a damaged engine because the Concord's engines are very close prox to the tires. On a Boeing type plane a exploding tires can't take out the engines though I would think the plane would lose all directional stability and roll over a few time.
