All of you calling for a body as the only definitive proof of his death are going to be sorely disappointed. I would be willing to bet that either

1. He is buried under a massive amount of rubble and will never be found.
2. That his subordinates took his body out and secretly buried it or burned it and it will never be found.

I hope the rat bastard is dead but I will be a bit sad if there is no body. I really want them to find his carcass and then send it on a nationwide tour where anyone who wants can take a piss on it.

So what? Even if he's really dead, no big deal. He wasn't at the roots of terrorism, there are thousands and maybe millions Bin Ladens everywhere. If he's still alive, nothing to worry either, IMVHO. He's pretty old already and it doesn't look like he's going to live forever. Besides, I read that he was a very ill man, he got some pretty serious illnesses, that's why he can't travel w/o his personal doctor.

It's been speculated for a while that he is dead. There was an eyewitness that saw Bin Laden and a few others going into a cave in Tora Bora in December during a US bombing run. The cave was hit with a huge bomb that completely wiped it out leaving a crater. Also Ramzi Binalshibh and the other moron were talking about Bin Laden in the past tense when they were interviewed in September. That combined with the fact we have not seen his ugly mug in videos since December (aside from faxes and letters which can be fabricated) indicate his is very dead or wants everyone to think he is dead.
