best thing for bin laden to do to do that is simply hit an export terminal in the middle east for oil. overnight the price will be 150-200 dollars a barrel.
 
hmm thats crazy.. Bin Laden hits the spot by talking about Halliburton, and how us normal americans suffer from big corporations!!

even he hates Bush!
 
that would imply he plans on hitting up wall street regularly to send our economy into a permanent recession. somebody should catch this fellow. i think he's dangerous

He seems to know more about our Economy than Bush does...

Plus, they have only attacked America once.. I do not doubt that they could easily strike here again if they wanted to.. obviously not with airplanes.. but probably with WMDs of some sort.

It seems to me that Osama has very little power. Is is very easy for him to say after the fact that something was part of his plan.


Hah! Bush invading Iraq was part of my plan!
Hah! I wanted him to spend billions of dollars killing fellow muslims

Bin Ladin is just repeating and stealing tired, overused ideas that he reads in magazines.

The fact that Bin Laden is clearly still alive is a slap in the face of anyone who remembers his crimes.

The possibility that most of our government's "anti-terrorism" activities since 9/11 may have been playing into OBL's grand plan is embarassing to think about. Who knows if Bankrupting the US has really been the plan (although the choice of the trade center towers as a target does support that possibility), or if OBL is trying to take advantage of the current situation by making it look like he has tactically outsmarted the mighty US Superpower...

It still bothers me that the US gave OBL his start in his Superpower resisting career...

Not trying to score political points on this one or sway anyone on any particular issue. Reading about this makes me feel slightly ill.
 
P.S. The Muslims who are dying are called "Holy Warriors" It is an honor for them to die fighting for Allah in their minds..

You people do realize that if Kerry wins, OBL will use the same tactics to make it look like he has been playing Kerry as well? Right? OBL is obsolete. 2/3 of al-Q are dead. What else can he do but talk sh*t from his sanctuary?

you're right, but as he said in his commentary, all he needs to do is have on of his terrorists sneeze somewhere in the world and automatically we'll send up the alarms everywhere and it's could cost us millions per event. the fact is is that we can never be 100% safe, and bin laden will keep doing this to us until we spend our way into bankruptcy. obl is better for us dead.

i dont think he ever said it was part of his plan. he was just thanking god for his luck that a person like bush would actually help him in his goal.
 
Let's say that the tactic is true, just for the sake of the argument. How does a country combat this? I think Germany tried something similar in WW2 but it was never fully acted on. They created millions in counterfeit currency to flood and devalue the dollar, the counterfeits never reached US soil.
