Bin Cue files Disk image burning question please

i have a bin and a cue file and i am trying to burn a cd image of it, but it wont work. I tried using cdrwin and fireburner, and it still doesnt work.

i am not sure on the "exact" settings to look for/put it on. Ive been through 3 coasters so far, any suggestions?

hmmm...maybe the media? can you read the contents of cd in explorer?

i use CDRWIN extensively and never had a problem...

Could it be the original CD image wasn't imaged properly..
What kind of CD format is it? Audio/Data/...?

Cause some CDs with different track formats cause errors after burning, not because it wasnt burnt properly, but because or error in creating the image.

CDRWIN will just plain stop burning and not report any errors if it's not getting the data fast enough (buffer underrun). Also, your CUE file may be incorrect, are you sure it's the right one? If you can't get it to work with CDRWIN, try Disc Juggler as it doesn't require the CUE file. There are also programs that will extract files directly out of the BIN file. Download one and see if it will let you, and if not then the BIN is probably corrupted. Winimage is a program that will do this.

Try ejecting the CD then putting it back in. Did you try that? I noticed that after burning a cd with cdrwin, if I just left the cd in the tray it wouldn't recognize the cd. I open it, close it, and it would recognize the cd. Try that, and if that doesnt work... it could be that you're using a warez key (sorry if you arent) but if you are then that might be the problem too.

For cdrwin:
CdrWin
Look under cdrwin scans

For Fireburn:
-Visual Cue Burner
-Right Click Load Tracks from *.cue
-Find cue file
-Create CD

The most important items is to edit the cue file to the proper directory. Since, the cd burned, I am assuming that you followed this procedure.

Is the CD blank or can you see the data. If it's blank it's a bad image, don't bother trying anymore. If you can see the files, look for a folder named crack😉😛

Here is one that no one mentioned yet....

If you are using cdrwin with a serial number you didn't pay for or it's a cracked version(WAREZ) then this is normal for CDRWin. It will allow you to burn a CDR, but leaves the CD unusable. Kinda like paybakc for stealing the app!
