For about $6k worth investment sounds pretty good to me personally. Especially now that I have a decent job and all.

Hey guys I have a 2009 Ford Focus Coupe (Black + Automatic) and I was thinking of making it into a monster sleeper car.

So far here is what I plan on getting within the next 6-12 months.

1. Steeda Short-Ram Air Intake (I was gonna go CAI, but those aren't too water friendly)
2. FSWERKS Stealth Exhaust
3. F2 Race Header
4. SCT X3 Tuner w/ Custom Tune
5. FRPP 1.5" Suspension Lowering Kit
6. 17" Summer Tyres
7. FSWERKS Stage 2 Turbo Kit

If all my calculations are right, I should be doing something about 260WHP when I finish. This coupled with the light weight car will make it fly.

So what do you guys think, any suggestions?

For posterity.

Time for an honest reply...

Dont waste your money. You aren't going to get that much faster for that amount of money. Save up and buy something thats quicker to begin with.

Unfortunately there is no killer focus here. It's in the UK and won't be headed this way. The Foci (plural of Focus?) on this side aren't worth dumping that much cash into in my opinion.
Save your cash, sell the car and get something that is already quicker than what you have. In the end you'll have less problems and more money perhaps.

I'm not against modding. But it seems like you're going to be adding more headaches than what it's worth to have a "Bimmer Killer".

My $.02

6K? Is that with install or doing it yourself?

If you owe money on it, pay it off first.
