At this point Jose Cuervo would have my vote.

Riordan was a good mayor of LA....would of beaten Davis. I wonder why most CA Republicans would vote for Simon if the Bush administration backed Riordan before the primaries....

Best darn Governor we ever had.
Are you aware that our own Harvey told him personally that he had his head up his ass?
It was over his published position about the court decision on the Pledge Of Allegience. Not only that, he actually replied, and we got into five or six replies each way discussing the issue.

We still disagree, but I was really impressed by his honesty, and the fact that he took the time to reply several times, himself, with well considered and well written discussion, instead of having some flunky send me canned rhetoric. I'll take that in a politician, anytime. That's also why I like Jesse Ventura.

OTOH, Diane Feinstein's toadies sent me a reply thanking me for my support when my message to her totally disagreed with her position. :disgust:

Meanwhile, we Californians are stuck with a dismal choice for governor. I'd love to see a law that provides a choice for None of these on the ballot. If that got the most votes, there would have to be a new election, and nobody on the original ballot would be allowed to run for that office in the re-run.

just don't waste your vote. a vote for davis is a vote against simon. a vote for whoever else probably helps simon and his fundie following far more then davis:p

like it or not, hes the lesser of two evils.

i'm pragmatic.
