Bill Mahr is an idiot !!!

What the hell happened to this guy, he used to be such a great libertarian and now he is the biggest suck up to the left I have ever seen. He constantly bashes the Republicans and defends the Clintons and the Democrats. He bashes Jim Baker about how bias he is but says nothing about Warren Christopher. He voted for Ralph Nader how far to the left has this guy moved.

Today he read a book called the Grinch that stole the election. Of course this book was about George W and what he percieves as him stealing the election. He made lots of put downs about his drinking and low IQ. Of course a genius like mahr would know about low IQ.


The only good thing about his show is that it's on at 1:00 am when no ones watching.

Do you think some Democrat has some info on him and is blackmailing him ?

yeah i agree also, he is a very closed minded man when it comes to politics now.
i don't like anyone who is like that, i think all political parties have some good idea.

I gotta disagree with all of you. Why does he defend the Dem's? It's because of the past 8 years of Rep's trying to impeach Clinton. It's because the Rep's are as bad as the Dem's. He is disheartened with that fiasco and only defended the Dem's in relation with the crap that transpired, not on the issues.

Did he vote Nader? If so, I don't know why. Perhaps just to exercise his right to vote however and for whomever he wanted. That doesn't nullify his claim to be a Libertarian.

His political views aside, he bugs me b/c sometimes it seems he's implying "I'm smart b/c I'm cynical," (Dennis Miller also does this). I'm so tired of the cynical=smart thing.

It seems to me that Mahr always agrees with the right when they talk about getting government out of people's lives, but he doesn't make any pretense about leaning to the left. Remember he is an entertainer like Limbaugh, and as such he calls attention to the humor in hypocrisy and extremism. Trouble with many on the right is that they take themselves too seriously and don't recognize extremism. Take a look at the first two posts:
