Maher is certainly a bit out there on vaccines, but that just makes him paranoid, not exactly dumb. And as for the JFK assassination, it doesn't take a conspiracy theorist to question the official story on that one.

As for stupid quotes, you can find them of any intelligent person. When Rush says stuff like his free market quote, he is pushing an agenda, not necessarily saying what he believes.

Know how many assassins it took to kill JFK? There were no gunmen at all. His head just did that. I call it the "No Bullet theory."

yeah it does. the evidence against Oswald is rock-solid. It's actually stacked higher than the piles of circumstantial mumbo-jumbo that the conspiracy nuts spew as "evidence."

I'm not going to argue the fine points of the assassination - frankly I'm not that familiar with them nor do I have a stance on it myself. But there are enough people that question the official story to not make it the exclusive domain of crazed conspiracy theorists.
