It puts the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again.

If you don't know the Koch brothers, they are the money behind the Cato Institute, Scott Walker, and lots of the class warfare in the news lately.

Bill Koch was probably just following the lead of the U.S. government, which imprisons millions of its own citizens for non-violent "crimes", many of which aren't even real crimes.

What's good for the government is good for the people, right?

Two words-
Vince Foster

:ninja:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Two more words. Not comparable.

As Hayabusa is resurrecting a baseless and long dead conspiracy theory and nothing more.

As for the possible sins of Bill Koch, we are talking about hard facts that are very likely to come out in a soon upcoming trial in a court of US law. With very possible real and provable evidence that could end up with additional US criminal prosecution of Bill Koch for criminal tax evasion. ASfter that, in raising that possibility, of criminal and civil charges against Bill Koch, I will reserve judgment until I see the evidence that comes out a trial.

I'd love for Bill Koch to go to jail, but even if he is guilty of this particular crime, it seems extremely unlikely that that will happen.

As we have all witnessed time after time, money talks. The more money you have the louder and more incessant your voice is. The Koch brothers have lived by this principle and they can also be victimized by it.

Seems to me the only way the Koch brothers are going to get into any kind of serious trouble is if the powers that be decide the Koch brothers are a financial/political risk to their peer grouip. They would then pool their powerful resources to successfully gang up on the Kochs. They are the only ones who can ultimately decide the Koch brothers fate.

Umm yeah. Two fairly outrageous unsubstantiated claims. Possible? Sure. It's also possible it will be dismissed. We'll find out.

So he stuck a member of the 1% in his dungeon and kicked him around a bit.

Sounds like a liberal wet dream.

Are you just jealous you don't get to do that too?

Alot will depend on the sheriff. If he is able to be proven crooked then they will be in trouble.

Considering the guy was held in Gunnison, Colorado and transported in a private jet to San Francisco, California, it becomes a Federal matter.

LOL. Yes, federal drug legislation has no bearing on the drug legislation of the states, and the massive number of non-violent offenders the states incarcerate for the victimless non-crime of "drug possession".

Thanks for the laugh.

your claim

Don't get all Pissy because you are factually wrong.

Had you stated US drug policy imprisons millions of citizens for non-violent crimes, it would have been less ambigious and closer to correct.

Yes, but if the Sheriff gets his feet put to the fire he will be much more likely to talk than otherwise.

No I told him what he posted was factually incorrect, until he clarified and included drug policy, no telling what bullshit he was spinning.

Truth is the US government doesn't imprison millions, the states do, you may think that isnt a worthwhile distinction, I do.
