It looks as if, right now, the judge is not buying it and he will still be going to court before he dies.

Oh, and he also tried bringing up his murdered son a couple times. I guess he thought it would get him sympathy.

He's probably understandably confused, what with regressives labeling everything racist.

Hey it worked for OJ.

Well in OJ's defense (don't get to say that every day!) the detective in charge of his investigation committed perjury about his racism, then got busted on tape in a super racist tirade, then invoked the 5th amendment when asked if he planted any evidence.

I think OJ is as guilty as hell and I would probably have voted to acquit him after seeing that.

Oh, and Cosby can go rot.

No, the left doesn't label everything racist. We just don't pretend that racism has been 'solved' just because we've had MLK Day and a black President.

They sure as hell try to. They also try to act as if the right is the only side that is and can be racists. When the left is guilty as well. And that it is only white against black, when that is far from the truth. Very far.

Kind of a sensationalist headline.

His daughters asked him if racism is possible in the allegations. His response.

“Could be. I can’t say anything but there are certain things that I look at and I apply to the situation and...there are so many tentacles, so many different — nefarious is a great word,”

No its, not. Happens all the time, especially around here. Calling someone racist over and over again, without evidence or they act like it themselves. Sorry the truth hurts.

No, they don't.

That's funny coming from you, who called an entire class of people (whites) "awful people". But go on, tell me how that's not racist.

Oh? Especially around here, as in the Internet? Please.

I've seen racism from most races I've encountered. It's nothing new, and Dem's I know recognize this. They don't pretend that Con's are the only ideologue's that can be racist.

It's far more common, especially in my area (a blue state), that racism goes hand in hand with Con's ideology.

Yes, people on the left can be racist. It'd be naive to assume that anyone is above that. However, modern conservative values tend to court racism much more than on the left: the "every Muslim is a potential terrorist" freakouts, an eagerness to cling to 'traditional' (read: bigoted) values, the myth that most people on welfare are lazy... that sort of thing. It focuses on a fear of the unknown, and that sometimes means anyone who isn't white.

I've never seen any indication that liberals believe only conservatives can be racist. You're going to need to provide a lot of evidence because this sounds like bullshit to me.

I was kinda expecting more.

Sorry his racism wasn't up to your desired level. The fact is, its still racism. Another fact is, if a white poster said that to a black poster, it wouldn't have been treated the same way.

Oh? Especially around here, as in the Internet? Please.

As is here on anand. Many, many certainly do think only the right, southerners or Repubs can be racist. Its easy to see all the time. Hillary lost? Oh, that's because of racism. MSM is a big part of this, making things out of race when they aren't, race baiting. Several posters here do it, call someone racist with zero evidence. By far its the left calling the right racist. Protests by the left, doing the same thing. If you don't see it, its because you don't want to. A poster here called me racists against blacks very often, based on our disagreements on police shootings. I finally gave in and posted a pic of my wife, which his very next post was making a racist comment about her. The hypocrisy is really just astounding.

Not every conservative thinks Muslims are terrorists. Not even close. Does a sector of conservatives promote this? Yep, sadly they do. The left has a lot of racism, but its a common theme that blacks cannot be racists. Or that its "reverse racism", which is a made up term.

I was speaking more along the lines of black on black racism, that is by far from leftist statistically speaking. Most black people vote Dem.

From recent news;
http://theurbantwist.com/2016/12/30/lost-another-one-serena-hottentot-williams-engaged-hes-white/

We Lost Another One. Serena “Hottentot” Williams is Engaged, and He’s White.

I think I’m as liberal as the next, and while I recognize that we would not have had our first Biracial president if there weren’t people who dated outside of the Black race, I don’t like it. Yea I said it, in just 2 days it will be 2017 and even though I know I’m not supposed to say it in this day and age, it’s true. Why lie? I’m one who believes desegregation and legalizing interracial marriage destroyed the Black community. YES, I said it.

There was so much backlash from the black community, far more than from whites, about her being engaged to a white guy. I am not going to go posting pics, its very easy to find on FB, twitter, insta, etc. Some of the things are truly vile. Yet hardly a peep about it. That article is just the tip of the iceberg of what was said.

http://abc13.com/news/ut-miss-black-pageant-winner-criticized-for-not-being-black-enough/1959571/
A University of Texas Miss Black pageant winner received some backlash for 'not being black enough.'

A mixed girl challenged if she is black or not, asked for proof. Really? Tons of very hateful messages on this too, from other blacks. Begs the question, if there was a white pageant at UT like that how it would have gone over. Not very well, wouldn't even have been allowed. There is a lot of in-house fighting, so to speak in the black community from my experience. You can be too black, too light, act wrong, live in the wrong place, etc. People claiming that she has to be a certain shade of black, to be considered black is just idiotic. And more hypocrisy because when it suits them, they will claim a light skinned black person to fit their agenda in whatever fight they happened to be in at the time. Obama is very light skinned, no problem claiming he was black. Light skinned black girl beats darker skinned black girl in pageant? All hell breaks loose. Happens all the time. In my experience the fighting and characterizing within the black community does far more damage than anything that a white person does or can do. Mixed person does something wrong, I've heard, "that's their white side showing". How do you think that makes them feel? When you get shunned by both races at different times, it makes it very hard. There are countless examples online, I just provided two from recent events.

The left likes to think of themselves as "progressive", especially in recent times with the transgender controversy. Anyone should use any bathroom, play any sport, etc. Yet we have segregated pageants, really? Why not have them for all races, and colors, instead of segregating ourselves which does nothing but create more race problems. Same for black only dorms, etc. I understand why they started out, in todays world there is no reason for them. Segregation is not how we move forward.

The common perpetuated theme for the left is tolerant, progressive, liberal, etc. For the right its, racists, bigots, and sexists. That is what is pushed by MSM, and by many posters here. When that is far from the truth. Recent riots show differently. Did people vote against Obama just because he was black? Yes. Did people vote for Obama just because he was black? Yes. Did people vote for Hillary just because she was a woman? Yes. Did people vote against Hillary just because she was a woman? Yes. All examples exhibit racism or sexism. But to hear some people talk, only the right side is racist and sexist.

I am not going to debate who is more racist. The fact is there are many on both sides. Probably more on the right, due to sheer numbers. And yes there are those since the election who have been pushing it on the right, which is incredibly frustrating. I have said "in my experience" a few times, here is another. Black on black racism hurts far more than white on black racism. Being turned on by your own race is incredibly hurtful from what I have seen. For not being black enough, not acting black enough, not going to a black church, not going to a black school, wearing these kinds of clothes instead of these, too many examples to give. There is plenty of it out there. I am probably bias or have seen it more due to having a black wife and 4 kids. Again, just my experience. I am sure others can disagree. Our county is 1.54% black in a 2014 census. We moved into a new construction neighborhood last Oct. Our house is the only house with black people in it. My wife does not work, she walks a lot or does yard work. The same person has passed her many times and not spoken to her, looked away. I was outside and she was upstairs looking out the window trying to put our 5mo to sleep. The same woman who didn't speak to her, spoke to me on both trips by our house. I had no idea until she told me. Racism? Eh, I dunno. My wife has blonde braids and is going back to black in two weeks so that she doesn't look like the "scary black woman" (her words) so people will talk to her. I said fuck that, do what you want. But she has a much deeper understanding about the situation that I do, and wants a smooth transition. She used to sit outside just past the garage in the shade and watch me mow or other outside stuff, drinking a beer sometimes. She stopped that too, because doesn't want to make herself (blacks) look bad. That is about the only time we ever really disagree. I encourage her to do what makes her happy when it doesn't affect anyone else, and not to care what others think. She's very conscious though and most times won't, for the reason I said. A lady at the grocery store actually asked "he's very cute, where did you get him?" when she was there alone with our newest. Like, really? He is very light skinned right now, darkening some as he gets older. He could pass for white pretty easily. I told her she should have said her vagina, but she was nicer than I would have been.

Anyways, I just rambled a lot. Little built up frustration from recent events. I could talk forever about it, personally experiences from each side. We are part of a VERY tiny minority, I'd say .1%. Very, very, very few white men are married to black women around here. It can be weeks we don't see anyone else like us. We're going to a family reunion in the city where the KKK was born in a few weeks, which is always just a little stressing. That is where her dad was born, and so we always go there. Even on a cruise when we went to Miami, we saw one other couple in 8 days. We have gotten shit on from both white and black. As I said, more from black, even from family, which hurt far worse than anything else. Racism is just not white to black, black to white, etc. Same race racism is a real problem, and is helping keep things divided. As I said, the common narrative is that the right are racist, when it is much deeper than that. Several black famous people have spoken out about black on black racism, saying they are their own worst enemy, its too bad more people don't listen. I probably talked too much, and to be honest I don't want a back and forth about it. I know the thing to do here is remain secretive, hide personal information and facts from people. Hardly anyone posts pictures, etc. I find that those give context to ones argument, instead of nothing being known of someone and them talking down to others all the time. As I said, I could go on about it forever. I spoke my opinion and experiences, do whatever with them.

I know not every conservative thinks Muslims are terrorists -- the thrust of my response was that modern conservatism attracts and encourages people with this mindset. You'll occasionally get people who are typically left-leaning but oddly embrace hardcore xenophobia (I know at least one person on this forum like that), but conservatism's tendency toward the "unfamiliar things are scary" attitude is a logical fit.

And it's kind of interesting how you claim that xenophobia on the right is "not even close" to being a uniform belief, but yet say that it's a "common theme" for people on the left to think that black people can't be racist. Really? No. I suspect there are some people who think that way, but every argument I've seen centers around black people simply being less prone to racism by having experienced its effects first-hand. And there's little doubt that they're more often the victims of racism than the perpetrators, especially in the US.

I'm sure your wife will appreciate that racist blacks are the Real problem in this country, sort of like Mexican rapists and Muslim terrorists.
