Well, populism and conspiracy theories go hand-in-hand.

In fact, populism itself IS a conspiracy theory, the belief that They the Elites are trying to crush us the common people, with the only things changing are the particular "they" and "us" based on who the charismatic figure seeking election is trying to appeal to popularity to.

They are not trying anymore because they have succeeded.

I am a reasonable person, logical and rational in the extreme. I learned long ago never to be a kook or beanie wearer. I was taught to laugh such people out of the house, just like Bill Clinton. I discovered very early how the pecking order works and how the scummy pile up on the weak. And the thing that really pisses me off about conspiracy theories is the possibility that one of them might be right and I get f@cked over because I had my pants down, hey, again just like Clinton.

In your case, Dave, that's quite likely true. But only because you let them. "Them," of course, being the paranoid voices inside your own brain...

That's a lovely rationale, Moonie. I suppose the Pope really does have the power from God and the Church should rule the world too, right? Because, hey, that theory might be right too, eh?

The same people that call Bush an idiot for everything he does in office are the same people who call him a genius for directing the 9/11 "attacks". I wish the morons would make up their mind.

The guy is obviously an idiot. But is handlers are very smart. I'm not speculating on the topic at hand, just laying out the obvious.

So, he's a genius in picking his handlers? nice loophole, you got there.

I see you're worried about that too.

All I know is that when people talk about 9/11, everyone appears to have forgotten about the "plane" that hit the Pentagon. Nobody mentions it in the media, everyone is focused on the towers and to this date we still don't have any hard evidence proving that a plane was what actually knocked down the light posts on the way to its target.

Then what did? And if not Flight 77, where did the plane and its 59 passengers go?

The evidence has been there since day one; overwhelming evidence.

Plane parts were found. There are pictures of those plane parts available on the web. The black box was found. Human body parts were recovered. DNA tests were performed on those body parts. The coroner's report, using those DNA tests, accounts for every single passenger on Flight 77.

There's no way anyone should be claiming a plane didn't crash into the Pentagon unless someone purposefully wants to ignore all that evidence or they really haven't bothered looking with any due diligence in the first place because they don't want to burst their own conspiracy bubble.

How convenient that they found all of that evidence so easily, it was obviously planted....😉

The most compelling evidence that the US government had nothing to do with 9/11 is the lack of any real evidence from those on the inside. Where are the secret memos? If the someone in the government did this there is no way it would stay a secret long. Telling someone in government to keep a secret is like telling the school blabbermouth something you don't want anyone else to know.

All i can say is that if there was ever a movie made about how these know nothing idiots were able to hijack big passenger plane with only box cutters then i'd say "worst, most stupid unrealistic plot ever" when i left the theater.

Think about that for a minute, seriously, is it realistic?

Unrealistic things happen though and i'm not going to argue about this, it happened.

Heh, that doesn't really cut it, when secrets missions are going on there is no outside contact what so ever and all communications are made in person or via highly encrypted sattelite phonecalls, this is not unusual so it wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary either.

This is not the 70's anymore, there won't be traces if something will happen and leaks will be as distrusted as the leaks that have come forth have been.

This is blind faith in government and their side of the story, most people don't think about it an those who do are labeled "crazy conspiracy theorists".

I personally believe there is more to the story but i don't believe in any of the conspiracy theories either.

To think that Bin Ladin outsmarted everyone in the US services is a bit... hard to swallow for me though, might as well scrap them all and build it up from the ground if that is the case.

Considering this government conpspiracy was covered up for several decades, you really have no idea what you're talking about.

He knows exactly what he's talking about. The problem is your poor comparison.

You're comparing a plan that never came to fruition to one that did. Besides that, Northwoods was struck down by JFK. It was a blue sky suggestion that never saw the light of day.

I'm not convinced one way or another, but there are a few things I wonder about.
Why did building 7 collapse?
Why was molten metal at the twin towers site after the collapse?
Have other modern steel frame buildings collapse due to fire?

Why did building 7 collapse?
Building 7 collapsed because its structural integrity was compromised. Firemen in the building reported that floors were sagging, the building was leaning, and that they felt it was going to callapse. They requested evacuation. WTC7 was hit by falling debris from WTC2 that put a huge, gaping hole in the South side. There are pictures out there but if you google them you have to wade through so much of the 9/11 conspiracy garbage to find them it's ridiculous.

Can you prove that WTC7 should NOT have collapsed? If so, why?

Why was molten metal at the twin towers site after the collapse?
The skin of the Twin Towers was coated with aluminum. Aluminum has a relatively low melting point. Besides that, no picture has really ever shown molten metal. There are photos of red/orange hot metal uncovered, but it's not actually "molten."

Have other modern steel frame buildings collapse due to fire?
Yes.

You know...the democrats are just as elitest if not more so than Republican candidates. Probably more so, because they're busy condescending to people and making people dependent on the government to garner votes.

Money buys votes, which begets power. Both parties are guilty of it.
