This rates right up there with the Obama's Nobel peace prize.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - He's been commander in chief, Time magazine's 1993 man of the year, had hopes of becoming "First Laddie" of the United States and now former U.S. President Bill Clinton is in line for a new title - Father of the Year.

It was also awarded to John Kennedy, I wonder if it was before he got his intern drunk and raped her or after it happened? Either way, it's good to see that becoming Father of the Year isn't restricted by old fashioned notions of morality.

Out of curiosity, where did you get the JFK rape allegation from? Is it this woman who claims she was not raped?

Heh why not? If a nobel peace prize winner can have kill lists. Why cant an adulterer be father of the year?

This award is stupid, doubly so for being given to Bill Clinton. It's dumb enough without trying to throw in fake JFK rape accusations, though.

Agreed on all counts.

I was thinking about throwing in the question of whether or not the National Father's Day Council is a 501c-4 or not. It was just something that caught my attention last night and after the files being released by the late Fred Otash I thought a Kennedy tie-in would be fun.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...oods-famous-private-detective-Fred-Otash.html

According to Otash, who died in 1992, Monroe had a sexual relationship with the brothers and complained about being 'passed around like a piece of meat'.

She was also extremely drunk and by definition unable to make the choice............ or do you disagree with the idea that screwing a young woman that's extremely drunk and not capable of rational decisions isn't rape ? It's not as if Kennedy didn't know how drunk she was.

I figured you'd have no honest reply.
Says the guy who takes a modern development (sex with inebriated girl equals rape), exaggerates it (sex with a drunk girl equals rape), and then applies it to a different era like things were the same back then.

Why does this seem like deja vu? Seriously, I could swear this already happened.

She spent an entire year perpetually drunk? Actually, I suppose that's pretty common in college. But I'm going to take the phrase "I don't consider it rape" from your proposed rape victim, couple it with the fact that her affair with JFK spawned multiple sexual encounters over a yearlong period, and conclude that you're talking out of your ass.

Only Kennedy's first time with the teen aged intern, not the other time when he asked her to give oral sex to his Assistant, Dave Powers while he watched or the time he asked her to service his little brother Teddy Kennedy.

Sexual fetishes such as voyeurism are not the same thing as rape. It's telling that this poor little raped girl continued having a yearlong consensual affair with her supposed rapist, going so far as to literally proclaim "I don't consider it rape." But, yeah, your wildly uninformed anonymous opinion certainly holds more weight than that of the supposed victim.

If you say so.

I really hope to use this beautiful quote sometime in the future when the subject changes about applying today's standards to something that happened 30,50 or 150 years ago. It's a gem.
