Funny... my grandmother is just about to turn 87. She was SO excited that Clinton called her yesterday. Was a little disappointed that she couldn't get a word in since he was talking so fast - but, 'he has to make a lot of calls, so I understand'.

That's funny, I get a lot of calls telling me to vote for Bush, but they all sound like a bunch of hicks...no one important 🙁 Well, I DID get Ben Stein once, but that damn voice of his makes me want to push the button on the phone to injure the person at the other end 😉

Yes, I got the same call.

I also received one call from a local Republican asking me to vote for him, and I will. He is the ONLY Republican to ask for my vote.

I'm a registered Independent, so I don't know why they aren't calling me this year like they did in 2000. If they think they can do it all with tv and flying Bush in they are dead wrong. It takes a person to person effort. Nothing like the human touch....

I never get more than ten seconds into those prerecorded calls. Most useless political tool ever-they offend far more people than they convert. Although being able to say "I hung up on the President" may amount to something.

Curt Shilling is doing the same thing for the GOP in New Hampshire now.
