Hope he's well soon. Regardless what you thought of him as president, he does a lot of really good charity work these days.

Good news is heart medical technology/procedures and stinting has advanced so far it's almost routine. Hope hes fine, most likely he is. Might need a bypass though.

Even if I am a democrat, even if I thought Bill Clinton was an excellent President, my sense of humor can't resist pointing that this a job for Monica Lewinski therapy. Bill will be right back up in no time. Of course my same perverse sense of humor went on forum record, to point out, if Monica could suck any sense into GWB, it would be a very wise national investment.

On a more serious note, the type of therapy Bill is now getting is very likely proper, its benefited many in his age bracket, and sadly Bill Clinton likely has a genetic tendency to having cholesterol problems. Thankfully, it was caught in time and now Bill Clinton will have to more careful in monitored for such problems.

That and the fact that, as partisan as we want to be, Bill Clinton and George H. Bush are doing so much long term good as partners combating the various problems and disasters in this world. If those two can bury the hatchet, the rest of us can too.

I hope President Willy is alright. Also, I agree with the earlier posters regarding how "routine" these sorts of procedures have become. Open heart surgery? Fuck that, we'll put a mesh tube into your heart through your groin, motherfucker. Super cool.

He's already had a quadruple according to the news reports. Previously, I mean.

Stents have been getting some bad press over the last several years. They create their own set of problems.

I hope he will recover quickly. He is the only president that I have ever seen in real life. He gave an excellent speech at the campaign rally that I went to.

I miss the Clinton years, those were good times. Yes, I know much of it was due to the dot-com bubble, but still, overall it was a good time in US modern history.

The dot com bubble didn't start until 1998, after 3/4's of his presidency had already passed.
