I got mtself a neat used Trek 6000 mountain bike.My SO and his friend put new tires on it and I've been riding to work every day.Well today I logged about 15 miles on my bike and I gotta say that I totally LOVE the experience ! One small problem though my poor butt is killing me!

Well I wish you better luck biking in Boston than I had. After being nearly killed a half dozen times or so, I figured it wasnt worth it.

Get one of these or something similar. Your butt with thank you!

Also make REAL sure your saddle is HIGH enough.

With the crank at the bottom of it's throw you should have a slight (Very slight) bend in your knee!

you can get one of thoes big coushie seats for it that will help

or just wait and your ass will get used to it

mine always hurts the first few times i start rideing each spring

I took your advice and reset the saddle higher to a correct height for my leg length, I also picked up a gel seat cover, my evening ride was much more comfortable 😀

I got shorts with pad in them. It helps a lot.

I can't think of any woman who'd willing don a garmet that makes her butt look bigger :Q
