bike question....handles/grip

I tried those winged bars on my road bike and didn't like them. I found that the most comfortable bar for me was the cheap aluminium ergo bars from Performance Bike.

I know this isn't for a road bike. The concept looks similar though, the only one who can say if they are worth the price is you.

i think ive seen other models of ergons going for $25 to $30, but that was a few years ago. havent looked for one since.

i think they are worth it since i have problems with putting too much pressure on my palms, and made my fingers tingly on long rides. i tried raising the stem, getting new grips, wearing gloves. i could ride for more and more hours, but none of it completely cured my problem except getting a road bike and riding in a totally different position.

Some people love the Ergons, particularly if they're having issues with normal grips.

If normal grips work for you, I'd say just stick with 'em.
