Another vote for OSU/Mich

I've never really understood the Army/Navy one. Most rivalries are between good teams.

QFT!! People in this state go insane during this game. As in skipping their children's weddings to attend the game.

Who schedules a wedding during football season?:Q That's illegal in the South.

I really wish people would realize that CFB has been played for a long time. Army only has 1 less NC than OSU.

That was tongue in cheek... a rivalry of rivalries, if you will 😉 .

Both were back in the 50s or so...

From 1970 through 1975, Michigan entered without a loss every year. The Wolverines won just once. Ohio State was 9-0-1 in 1993, 11-0 in 1995 and 10-0 in 1996. The Buckeyes lost each time. That is rivalry.

Oh KNATS! :Q

I think I'm changing my vote 🙂

'National' and cross-state rivalries obviously have a bigger scope and will get more votes. But for sheer intensity, I personally think it's impossible to beat in-state rivalries. There is no relatively safe 'home turf' outside your campus. You have live with and around your rivals every single day.
