Some surprises here... like a diablo 2 forum being the 3rd biggest board? Wow, wtf, people still play that game?

No surprise really.

Diablo 2 has a very strong following. Some would say, the publisher should release a follow up to Diablo 2,... like a Diablo 3. But, we all know a Diablo 3 release is approx 10 to 15 years away.

Yes, I read the latest article, stating it would come out end of 2011. But, we ARE talking about Blizzard here. They are late with everything. They are late at being late.

d2jsp is more than just diablo 2, it has forums on a lot of other games as well. Its a big trading site that lets you trade their currency.

But, Diablo 2 was released in 2000. It is now 11 years.

It has been in development for the last 3,... maybe 4 years? Frankly, 2012 sounds about right. I don't see it coming out this year.

None the less, the point is that a game that is over a decade old is still being played and there is a following - why not take care of these people and give them a sequel in 5 years??

I should probably do something with the 5,000 or so jsp currency I have sitting idle. Somehow, I managed to break the chains of D2 a couple years ago.

4chan doesn't have "members" outside of janitors and mods. Maybe tripcode users but I don't think that site distinguishes between them and anonymous posters.

Either way, way more than 66k people have made those 666M posts.

There are currently 10,000 boards that have been submitted but not reviewed, compared to a little more then 2000 boards currently listed. They reviewed 1 board last month. A board I frequent met the qualifications years ago, but has not been listed. They charge money if you want "expedited" review. It was useful 10 years ago, but not now.

Yeah.. I am not surprised at all by the top 10. After that it gets like, "wtf are these?"

D2jsp is huge for Diablo 2 commerce.

If I still played Diablo 2(I go back and forth on it, but I think my last taste of it will keep me satisfied for a few more months) then D2jsp is automatically what you have to get on. There's just no other way to get high runes and shit.
