Biggest joke in our war against terrorism

The biggest joke in our war against terrorism is that, we are fighting with the help of Pakistan, which itself a terrorist state. We are commiting another blunder by siding with Pakistan. This is the state which is responsible for importing terrorism to all the countries, like Afghanistan, Sudan, Algeria, .... through Ismalic Religious Schools.

There is an important difference. The State of Pakistan isn't sponsering terrorism. Iran, Syria, Libya, and Iraq are states that sponser terrorism. Pakistan has cracked down on terrorists. They have little resources to do so though and terorists arn't dumb.

How do you know that <<Pakistan has cracked down on terrorists>>? Through their media. Hehe...
All the Taliban Soldiers have studied in madrassas ( or whatever schools ) in Pakistan. I don't see any reason why US not asking Pakistan to close these schools?

Once our soldiers land in Pakistan, then we will know their real colors.

Keep this in mind that we are not siding with pakistan, we are asking them to allow us to use their land. We need to be able to amass our troups somewhere since they are land locked and pretty far inland. And look at the other neighbors around afganistan.. who was our best bet for allowing us to dothis...... apparently they were

yes, both pakistan and saudi arabia suport an environment that breeds new terrorists.
I thought this was an interesting read.

Front page of the Washington Post has an article about the U.S. trying to work with IRAN against terrorism😱

<< No, the biggest joke is saying we're going to go after ALL countries that harbor terrorists. >>

I think if this were to happen the US government would have to attack itself

You guys haven't heard of divide and conquer? Do you think the Europeans and other countries would jump on our bandwagon to join the fight against bin Laden and the Talibans if we are going to bomb Syria, Iran, Iraq and other states that sponsor terrorism? If you think that we can go to war alone now with our reduced military and no land base for our aircraft or troops, you need to think again. If you want to fight the whole middle east, then why don't you demand a draft? After all, we are going to need a lot of troops fighting every front. I'll bet if you guys hear the draft is coming, the majority of the war hawks in this forum would flee to Canada.

In my opinioin, we shouldn't take help from Pakistan. We should approach the like minded democratic states, like India. This is also close to Afghanistan.

If the Pakistani government wants to take a stand and include itself among the UN participants, they deserve a chance. You seem rather biased against Pakistan. Are you from India?
