Biggest jerk of a motivational speaker?

I'm writing this short story for fun about a serial killer and his Manson like family and am looking for some motivational speakers as a mold/model for the charismatic leader. Particularly with very selfish, "take no prisoners, survival of the fittest- eat or be eaten!" sort of capitalist lust. Any suggestions for reading material? The goofier the better, I'm going for satire not serious commentary.

Thanks!

That dude in Donnie Darko comes to mind.

Other than that, you could check the vans parked down by your local river.

That motivational speaker from Dexter.

I was going to mention him, but I don't think there's enough of his motivational speaking in the season to warrant what he's looking for. Also, I think the motivational speaking they had in the series didn't show him for the dick he was (probably for "cover" purposes). It's too bad, though, because his slogan fits almost exactly what the OP is looking for

I guess since it's fiction he could run with it

Pat Robertson

Fundie Bigot, Republican power broker, one~time Presidential hopeful, and Right Wing Televangelist. Not to mention one of Manson's "Children" attempted to assassinate Gerald Ford... Lots of room to lampoon pretty much anything with that set up.

I'd like to stay away from religion just because it's too easy, but Robertson's a good one. Though speakers who focus on the power of self (vs god, country, family, etc.) are what I'm really looking for.

I know you say you want to stay away from religion, but I'd look a bit into Jim Jones (of Jonestown) and David Koresh (of the Branch Davidians). They were powerful enough to manipulate a lot of people. Hitler is probably up there in speaking power as well. Some of his speeches were pretty captivating, even if just from a mannerisms perspective.

Watch the Wolf of Wall Street bases on a true story. The main character Jordan Belfort starts as a money hungry broker, he actually turned into a motivational speaker after being charged with several counts of investment fraud and corruption.
