So women having orgasms on the radio is a big deal to you (where they willingly volunteer, and stimulate themselves), but mocking a widow over the death of her husband is not?
Masturbating on the air may present a problem due to FCC guidelines, but is harmless.
Telling people to call the SS & threaten to kill the president is just stupid.
Mocking someone over the death of their husband is malicious.

Pretty much my same exact thoughts. I could give a flying fart about a radio station broadcasting two people having sex in a coffin. If I don't like what's being done, I can turn the channel. No harm done. In this case though - this fscknut went out of his way to cause diliberate harm (and yes, emotional harm is still harm) to an innocent person who just had a recent trajedy. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of behavior. She doesn't have the ability to just "turn the channel".
OMFG - he asked ONE QUESTION that wasn't malicious. He could have asked her how the team is doing. He could have asked her how the team is treating her now that her husband is gone. He could have asked her if the ball club was taking care of her or anything. He could have asked what she had for breakfast.
HE ASKED IF SHE HAD TICKETS TO THE GAME - AND THAT'S IT.
Granted the lady was sensative to it, but it could have been an innocent question. It seemed to be. Quit blowing this out of proportion and leaving the other sinister things that people do on the air alone.

You should read the ESPN link I originally posted. He asked her if SHE HAD A DATE to go to the game with, not tickets.
Edit: here is is: " St. Louis manager Tony La Russa is irate over a Phoenix-area disc jockey who called the widow of Cardinals pitcher Darryl Kile and asked if she had a date for Thursday's playoff game."
I read the article before I posted, and again shortly after I posted. For some odd reason, I didn't see that he was asking about a DATE. I understood that he was asking if she had tickets. Don't ask me how; I'm an idiot. Now... asking about a date is even more insensative, but I still don't think the guy deserves to be suspended, much less fired.
