Wait, no Waterworld? Budget 175m, boxoffice 88m.

I thought Howard the Duck was pretty awesome for a sci-fi movie. I watched it on network TV though.

why do they keep letting Eddie Murphy make movies?

I'm surprised Evan Almighty wasn't on the list.

Pluto Nash is the biggest IIRC; not percentage-wise, but gross loss.

Some movies you think should be on there may have recouped their costs and even made a profit in the home video market.

First movie that came to mind was "Cleopatra" - adjusting for what it cost at the time, it's got to be one of the most losingest movies of all time.

(yeah, that's right, losingest)

Hudson Hawk was a complete POS, were you on mind-bending drugs when you saw it?

Damn, I remember seeing a trailer for Meet Dave recently, which I assumed was a preview. It's already pulled from theaters? I never even knew it had started its run!

Were you actually waiting to go see it though?

I can take over for him. I loved it. It totally had the Moonlighting sense of humor. I can understand if that's not what you're into, but Moonlighting was a hit show.

Then again, I think "Shakes the Clown" and "Penn and Teller Get Killed" are works of art as well.... :)

Yay! I think the movie was just way before it's time. People wanted another Die Hard clone and got a rude awakening.
