"seeing is believing" is a pretty poor way to prove something, actually. our optic systems are tuned to creating patterns and resolving images into something we understand rather than what is actually in front of us. people see a white mist, their eyes tell them it's a civil war lady in a white dress. and those things always seem to happen "out of the corner of my eye". the eye has no ability to focus on anything except for a small conical area directly in your field of view. everything else is blurred.

but footsteps, doors banging, furniture moving...those aren't so easily misinterpreted. 🙂
 
For those of you not residing in the UK, the Daily Fail has less credibility as a serious News source than the likes of The Onion. It would be easier to believe anything Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf says.
